Cold Northeastern

Hi Everyone!

I know its been a few days since I last posted but life really hasn't been too exciting. On Thursday night I bundled up and tackled an RSA BBQ in the cold. It was really fun because I got to grill. I really miss cooking so when I come home for Thanksgiving and Christmas everyone better be ready to eat. The Housing Task Force has been very busy this past week because we are getting ready to send out housing applications. Housing is going to be very complicated this year because we are opening a new skyscraper residence hall. My Housing Services committee has also been very busy passing a proposal for Gender Neutral Housing. Due to the hard work of Housing Services students of both genders will be able to room together in the new building next year. Last night I made the trek to Cambridge to tutor my 6th grader. I hate to say it but it's not really going that well. It has only been two weeks and I feel more like a babysitter than a tutor. My student is really smart and doesn't really need a tutor. She never wants my help and when I try to correct one of her answers she gets annoyed. I travel an hour to get to the school and all I end up doing is sitting at a table watching someone do homework. This morning I had my Beethoven midterm and it went really well. Well, that's all for now. Have a great week!

Love,
Mallory

P.S. Have a safe trip down to Florida Grammy!

So nice to hear from you Mallory!

Big news here...we beat you to the snow! It snowed all day here. Not too much of an accumulation, but all after school activities were cancelled.

Callbacks for B&B are on Thursday. Colin and Austin were both called back for Lumiere. We'll let you know as soon as we hear the results.

Auditions for the King and I are the beginning of next week. Already there is concern amongst the troops about how things are being handled. I am sure there will be much more drama here before it is over...we'll keep you posted.

Stay warm! Love, Mom
